ISS have performed asset condition assessments on many power distribution networks throughout New Zealand. Our staff have been trained to identify defects and potential defects and give then a rating depending on urgency.

ISS can also supply asset condition survey software developed in house. Hand held data capture devices are used to accurately record information on site that can be synchronised on site with a server computer back at the office. This system allows for real time data capture and produces more accurate information faster than traditional paper methods.

ISS has trained experienced staff that can accurately identify potential failures on network assets. Using thermal imaging devices allows for this early detection allowing network owners to program maintenance.

Earth bank resistance testing

 

Transformer earth resistance testing is completed on a cyclic programme. ISS can provide trained personnel and regularly calibrated and accurate test equipment. Iss can also provide earth resistance test software and hand held data capture devices.

Pillar inspections

 

Pillar inspections are required to be completed on a regular cycle. ISS can provide a software solution and personnel to complete surveys efficiently and on time.
